My angel wears a 5 or close to a 6. He has a medium to wide foot. I bought him an 8 and he has room in the shoe and room to grow. The insole is a leather cushiony insole. The shoe is made well. The navy is not bright but it is not a dark navy. It does not look black as some navy shoes sometimes appear to look black. The shoe is a nice shoe!
